  • Colposcopy / vulvoscopy
  • 3D/4D ultrasound
  • Urogynecological diagnostics (urodynamic measuring station)
  • Cystoscopy
  • Hysteroscopy
  • Hormone diagnostics
  • Diagnosis of bleeding disorders
  • Radiological diagnostics in cooperation with the MVZ Radios in-house
  • Urine diagnostics
  • Diagnosis of genital infections

Outpatient surgeries

Do you want to be healthy and symptom-free again – and have you been recommended an operation to achieve this? Operations can often be performed on an outpatient basis, which means that after a preliminary examination and consultation in our practice, you will come to us in the morning on the day of the operation and will then be operated on in the ultra-modern operating department right next door. You will then recover in a quiet atmosphere in your room until you can be discharged by us on the same day. We want you to feel safe and secure with us.

  • Sampling of vulva, vagina, cervix (neck of the womb) by biopsy
  • Abrasion (scraping) of the uterus, e.g. in the case of bleeding disorders
  • Hysteroscopy (uterine endoscopy), e.g. if polyps or malformations are suspected or as part of the diagnostics for an unfulfilled desire to have children
  • Laser therapy, e.g. for conspicuous pap smears and condylomas
  • Endoscopic minimally invasive surgery ("keyhole" surgery),
e.g. for ovarian cysts or sterilization
  • Aesthetic genital surgery, e.g. for hypertrophy or asymmetry of the labia majora

Inpatient operations

The entire diagnostics and preparation for the operation also takes place here at our practice. Immediately before the operation, you will be admitted to our partner hospitals, Marienhospital-Düsseldorf and Evangelisches Krankenhaus Mettmann. We will welcome you there and you will move into your room before going into the operating theater. In the days following the operation, we will look after you closely and prepare you for discharge. After you have been discharged, we will of course continue to be at your disposal for any requests you may have.

  • Aesthetic genital surgery

Our aim is to perform aesthetic and functional genital surgery. This means that, in addition to the aesthetic aspect, we also consider the functional characteristics when planning the operation, for example to treat sensory disorders during sexual intercourse or changes following birth trauma.

    Process

    • Labia reduction
    • Labiaplasty / correction of asymmetries
    • Labia reconstruction, e.g. after a labia rupture during childbirth
    • Clitoral hood tightening
    • Operations on the mons pubis (mons pubis) such as reduction or tightening
    • G-spot injection
    • Vaginal tightening
    • Correction of scars, e.g. after an episiotomy or perineal tear
    • Hymen surgery (hymen)
    • Correction of gynecological scars on the abdomen, e.g. after a caesarean section or hysterectomy

  • Outpatient operations for fertility

    • Examination of fallopian tube patency (chromopertubation) by means of laparoscopy
    • Uterine endoscopy (hysteroscopy) for diagnostic and surgical treatment of uterine malformations or removal of septa and adhesions
    • Removal of fibroids (muscle nodules) of the uterus by surgical uterine endoscopy (resectoscopy) or laparoscopy depending on the size and location of the fibroids

  • Intravaginal and gynecological laser therapy

    • Vaginal rejuvenation / vaginal rejuvenation
    • Vaginal constriction
    • Treatment of vaginal relaxation syndrome
    • Treatment of mild prolapse of the female pelvic floor
    • Treatment of mild stress urinary incontinence
    • Intravaginal laser therapy for vaginal atrophy and vaginal dryness as an alternative to hormonal treatment and for breast cancer
    • Correction of genital scars, e.g. after a perineal tear or episiotomy
    • Correction of scars on the lower abdomen, e.g. after a caesarean section or hysterectomy
    • Laser therapy for dyspareunia (painful sexual intercourse)

  • Endoscopic minimally invasive surgery

On the one hand, endoscopy (keyhole surgery) makes it possible to minimize large abdominal incisions and the associated pain. On the other hand, scars are kept as small as possible in order to meet aesthetic requirements. Modern imaging techniques make it possible to archive special findings or individual sections of the procedure and print them out if required. This makes it easier to explain the conditions during the operation to the patient when discussing the procedure and to illustrate the steps taken during the procedure. Numerous diseases can be treated endoscopically.

Among other things: Removal of fibroids, foci of endometriosis, abscesses, adhesions, cysts, tumors and organs (uterus, ovaries)

  • Myoma enucleation

One surgical focus is hysteroscopic (uterine endoscopy) and laparoscopic (abdominal endoscopy) removal of fibroids from the uterine wall and preservation of the organ, for example in the case of an existing desire to have children.

  • Hysterectomies

There are different ways to remove the uterus. Depending on the examination findings, we can offer you the best treatment for you from all the options:

    • Vaginal hysterectomy
    • Total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH)
    • Laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy (LASH)
    • Laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH)
    • Abdominal supracervical hysterectomy
    • Total abdominal hysterectomy

  • Tumor surgery

"Gynecological oncology" includes the prevention, diagnosis, surgical and medical treatment and aftercare of malignant gynecological tumors.

We treat tumor diseases of the female abdomen, including tumor diseases of the external genitalia (vulva, vagina), the cervix, the uterine cavity (corpus), the fallopian tubes and the ovaries.

Cancer is a serious turning point in the life of a woman and her relatives. We would like to offer our patients a protected environment during this time: They receive guideline-based, stage-adapted therapy with support from all disciplines (anesthesia, oncology, radiology, pathology, psycho-oncology) in close and continuous care from our team.
